Cool*Alps – TAB goes Green Deal

“Cool Alps” aims to improve adaptability to climate change and energy security in the Alpine region by promoting the dissemination of innovative thermally activated buildings. These buildings enable CO2-free heating and cooling using a single system, making settlements more flexible and resilient to extreme heat periods.

Activities:

  • Development of a planning guide for thermally activated building components in the Alpine region
  • Preparation of a proposal paper for funding projects with building component activation and improving the legal framework
  • Programming an online expert pool for planners, architects, construction companies, and energy planners
  • Creation of an online innovation map showcasing example buildings throughout the entire Alpine region.
