If you are new to Salzburg, you may not yet be familiar with all the rules, contact points, and options available when dealing with different situations. But even if you have been living here for a while, you may still have questions about safety and the police.
What should I do if I feel unsafe on the street or in my neighborhood? When should I contact the police, and which emergency number should I call? How can I protect myself from scams, theft, or suspicious calls and messages? What should I do if I notice something suspicious? And who can I contact if I want to report something or simply have a question?
Over a cup of coffee and some pastries, you will have the opportunity to discuss these and other questions directly with a police officer in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The focus will be on your personal questions and topics related to safety in everyday life.
The event is open to everyone and especially welcomes international professionals and people who are new to Salzburg. Take this opportunity to learn more about the work of the police, address any questions or concerns you may have, and find out who to contact in different situations.
The event is being organized by the Gnigl & Schallmoos Resident Services in cooperation with the Salzburg Police as part of the “GEMEINSAM.SICHER” initiative.
