Whether starting a business, expanding operations, or investing – finding the right location can be time-consuming. This is exactly where the new platform www.standort-salzburg.at comes in. For the first time, it brings together available commercial properties, business premises, and brownfield sites across the entire province on one central website.
With just a few clicks, companies, founders, and investors can get an overview of available sites. Additional key information is also provided: funding opportunities, a brief location analysis, and spatial data from the Salzburg Geographic Information System (SAGIS) – such as zoning, infrastructure, or potential hazard zones. This enables fast, well-informed decision-making. Use of the platform is completely free of charge for both providers and seekers.
Working together for a strong business location
The project is a collaboration between Innovation Salzburg, the Province of Salzburg, the City of Salzburg, the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, LandInvest, and the Salzburg Institute for Spatial Planning (SIR). Their shared goal: to provide the best possible support for companies in finding business locations, expanding operations, or setting up new sites – and thus sustainably strengthen Salzburg’s economic development.
