Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg initiates new research collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim to investigate the natural regenerative potential of extracellular vesicles derived from human stem cells of the supporting tissue. The application of these vesicles will be studied in musculoskeletal or central nervous system disorders.<\/p>\n

For over six years, the PMU has been conducting a research program called “Nanovesicular Therapies” in collaboration with university hospitals and the Paris-Lodron University Salzburg. We have previously reported on this.<\/a><\/p>\n

The director of the Institute of Experimental Neuroregeneration at PMU Salzburg, S\u00e9bastien Couillard-Despr\u00e9s, views the collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim as a “visionary cooperation program that enables the development of innovative approaches for treating complex disorders of the central nervous system and musculoskeletal tissue at PMU.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
